Savor the taste of luxury with Alpine Peaks Mountain Wildflower Honey. Sourced from our bees in the Absaroka Range of the Montana Rockies, our pure honey is a true reflection of the rugged landscape and picturesque scenery. Let the flavors of nature's beauty transport you to a higher tier of indulgence.

If you haven't figured it out yes, we are beekeepers. Buying honey directly from a beekeeper is an intelligent and thoughtful decision that goes beyond a simple transaction. It connects you with the source of your food, supports sustainability, and allows you to enjoy the genuine flavors of unadulterated honey.

  • We avoid exposing our honey to excessive heat, as it can cause enzymatic activity that affects flavor and quality. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures can cause honey to caramelize, altering its color and aroma.
  • We don't use pesticides, herbicides or harsh chemicals! Honeybee pesticide exposure at the individual level might be lethal, sublethal or altering to the behavior of the bee. At the colony level, this exposure might impact an entire hive, species, or (eventually) crop yields.
  • We strain but do not filter. Straining honey is often considered better than filtering it because straining only removes larger particles like bee parts and wax chunks, while filtering can also remove smaller particles like pollen, which we believe contributes to the honey's nutritional value and natural flavor profile; essentially, straining allows for a more "raw" honey with minimal processing, while filtering can significantly alter the honey's composition.
  • Our hive frames are changed out to avoid frames that are more than 3 years old. Over time, the wax can accumulate chemicals, potential diseases which can negatively impact honeybee health. Older wax also tends to become more damaged and less efficient for the bees to build comb on, leading to potential issues with queen cell development and overall hive productivity.
  • Our honey is raw & unadulterated. Did you know.... According to several reports, a significant portion of honey sold at grocery stores is considered "fake" or adulterated, with estimates suggesting that up to a third of the honey on the market could be diluted with cheaper syrups like corn or rice syrup, meaning a large amount of honey sold in supermarkets may not be entirely authentic honey.
